Jean Michel Blanquer, President of ESSEC Business School came on his first visit to Mauritius and Medine Education Village last 30 and 31 January. His 2-day visit was packed with appointments and meetings with key stakeholders of Mauritius, a tour of the campus and the amenities that feature along, and discussions with Medine’s executive team. Jean Michel Blanquer also had the opportunity to deliver a brilliant 45-mins presentation on the ‘Future of Higher Education across the world’ at a special event, hosted by l’Institut Francais de Maurice on Monday 30 January. He pointed out that Higher Education was going through a transformative period, with new ways of learning spreading across various platforms. He noted that though the digital revolution was giving a new definition to Higher Education, campuses still stood strong, providing the necessary structure to nurture human relationships with students. He particularly added that ESSEC Business School fully supports a learning-by-doing approach in all its programmes, among other values.
ESSEC Business School, which features among the Top 3 Business Schools in France and Europe will open its Global BBA in Mauritius in September 2017.
