In line with its vision for Education and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the Medine Group has this year granted two full scholarships to brilliant secondary students who have produced great academic performance in their last HSC examinations but who are financially restricted. They will have the opportunity to onboard prestigious institutions of Uniciti Education Hub for its September 2018 intake, namely within Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and Middlesex University Mauritius after having been duly assessed by the respective universities.
Medine Group believes Education is a life-long investment, which is why it is deeply rooted in its vision and strategy through Uniciti, its smart city, whose main driver is Education and more particularly Higher Education, laid on the ambition of building a knowledge-based economy.
Since 2016, Medine Group has been instrumental in supporting brilliant secondary students in need of financial support, providing them access to top-notch higher education programmes of Uniciti Education Hub. Hence, 22 scholarships have been granted by the Group over the past two years, to young deserving Mauritians from challenging social backgrounds.
